Cabarete has become one of the best Kitesurfing Spots in the world because of the perfect conditions. Basically we have all conditions a kitesurfer could wish for.

Kitebeach is long and sandy and launching is very easy. We have a reliable and constant wind side on shore from the right. From May-July the most used Kites are 10 - 13. From August - April most of the people use Kites between 13 - 16 meters.
The reef is about 200 m out from the shore - so there is flat water inside the reef for the beginners and waves from 0.5m - 2m high on the reef for the more advanced kiters.
Because of the pleasant water temperature (27 - 29 Celsius !!)

Every day at 11.45 am we drive with our Surfbus to our Kiteschool to the Kitebeach, a kite boarding school with a reputation for it's open and friendly atmosphere. Where all levels of kiters from complete beginners to pros come to take kite surfing lessons, rip up the waves, or just chill out and watch the show that is Kite Beach Cabarete.

Our Kiteschool offers the very best in kiteboarding lessons / kitesurfing lessons. All Instructors are IKO Certified.
Our training program offers you the most comprehensive lessons you'll find anywhere. With enfisise on safety and fun you'll learn everthing you need to know whilst having a great time.

All lessons are with licensed instructor(IKO) and assistant (if needed).

All students recieve an IKO Kite Boarders Card to certify their level of Kite Boarding.

Price is per person and includes all conveniences of Kiteschool facilities: grassy garden for kite cleaning, air compressor, rescue boat service, showers, restroom, parking, beach chairs.

Depending on the conditions we offer Downwind trips to El Encuentro starting from La Bocca, which is a rivermouth in the east of Cabarete. In this place you can find completely flat water.
